On January 6, 2014, Martin J. Walsh became the 54th Mayor of Boston. During his first 101 days in office, Mayor Walsh has worked tirelessly toward making Boston a city where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. Five key priorities to date build upon Boston’s strengths, while carrying the City into the future:
Strengthening the economy & creating good jobs
Improving public safety & combating gun violence
Ensuring Boston Public Schools enable the success of all children
Increasing accessibility & transparency in City government
Serving all Boston’s neighborhoods and residents
The City will dive in with “Walsh 101” on Next.CityofBoston.gov, where we explore the first 101 days: what has been accomplished, and what lies ahead.
