Applicants must apply for this license to the Secretary of the Committee on Licenses at the Inspectional Services Department (ISD). The secretary will give the applicant the information needed to fill out the form, the legal advertising information and set the hearing date for approval from the Committee. Then the license and garage permit will be issued.

What you will need:
TYPED Application
Four (4) copies of the certified plot plan (no more than one year old)
Floor plans showing the layout of the parking spaces, numbered
Any tanks, or storage of other flammable items.
A check for the newspaper (legal notice).

Upon application drop-off, you will be advised of your hearing date.
Ten days into the month of your hearing, you will receive a packet from Ms. Kenny that includes a cover letter that you need to send out (certified mail) to all abutters.
At least 14 days prior to hearing you must mail a copy of the legal notice (newspaper ad) and the cover letter to the abutters with return receipts requested. Please bring green cards with you to hearing.
You must attend the hearing. If you do not appear, your application will be dismissed.
