Obtaining a Building Permit
What Hours Can I Work? The Building Permit allows you to work from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. If it becomes necessary for you to extend the hours of work or to work on weekends, you will need to apply for a permit to do so. This permit is applied for from the Assistant Commissioner of Buildings and Structures, Boston Inspectional Services, 5th floor and is issued on a weekly basis only.
