Amend Plans
If you need to change or revise your plans after your Long Form Permit has been issued, you must file an amendment with the revised plans or a description of work to be changed and pay an amendment fee.
NOTE: Long Form must be open/not signed off as closed.
You may file an application to amend plans only if your origional application is for structural work or to change occupancy. The occupancy cannot be changed on an amendment. the amendment proceedure is as follows:
- The contractor or owner should fill out the application to amend the plans and pay the amendment fee.
- The application and plans are referred to Plans and Zoning for review to ensure that they comply with the Building and Zoning Codes.
- If approved, the Plans Examiner will notify you to come in and pick up your amendment (bring your yellow card).
- If there is a need for additional information the Plans Examiner will contact you.
