Fellow Program Application 2012
Eligibility and Application:
Applicants must have recently earned their graduate degree at a credited University or College.
Applicants must be Boston residents at the time of their fellowship.
All areas of study are encouraged to apply, MPP, MPA, MBA and Urban Planning graduates fields are preferred.
Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to public service and an interest in public policy and management.
Completed Application includes: Applicant Summary, Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts, Resume, Writing Samples and Fellows Recommendation Form
Application deadline is March 16, 2012.
In order to be considered for acceptance in the Boston Urban Mechanics Program – Fellows Program, the applicant must complete the application, meet the qualifications listed in the job description, be present for the all-day interview session in February, and be able to commit to the two year program.
Policy Institute Application 2012
Eligibility and Application:
Applicants must be students enrolled in a graduate degree at a credited University or College.
Applicants must be Boston residents or currently enrolled in a Boston area college or university or be a recent graduate.
MBA, MPA, MSW, City and Urban Planning graduate fields preferred, although all areas of study are encouraged to apply. The program seeks student who demonstrate leadership skills, academic achievement, excellent communication skills and a passion for public service.
Completed Application includes: Applicant Summary, Official Transcript, Resume, Writing Sample, and Policy Institute Recommendation Form
Completed applications must be received by March 30, 2012.

Eligibility and Application:
Undergraduate interns must be currently enrolled in a credited college or university. Graduate interns must be currently enrolled, or accepted in, a graduate program.
Internships are managed by supervisors in individual departments; there is no central internship application for on-going positions. Departments require applicants to apply to an individual posting.
Internship positions have on-going availability throughout the academic calendar and summer. Not all departments may offer internships, if you are interested in interning in a specific department that does not have a posting please email a detailed description of your interest to internships@cityofboston.gov
