First Night Boston
On December 31st the city comes to life with an incredible variety of arts on show as the countdown to 2012 begins. Highlights include the Grand Procession and the Boston Family Fireworks. First Night buttons are available at retail locations throughout the city and include admission to 12 hours of programming and indoor activities plus discounts before and after First Night.

Prevent Stolen Mail Packages
Protect your mail packages from being stolen this holiday season by not leaving them unattended on your doorstep. The BPD warns residents to make sure to communicate to your mail carrier that in order for the package to be dropped off at the residence, someone must be present at the residence and the receiver of the package must have an ID and proof of residency.
