Mayor Thomas M. Menino added the Sustainable Food Leadership Award to the Green Business and Residential Awards to highlight the city's commitment to providing the healthiest and most sustainable food choices to its residents and visitors. The award will be given to the organization that demonstrates extraordinary efforts to provide the freshest, local food in the most sustainable manner.

The nomination period for the 6th Annual Green Awards is now closed. Thank you to those who provided nominations. The Mayor will present the awards at a springtime ceremony.
