Public Hearings
In accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40, the BOSTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION will hold a public hearing in Boston City Hall, Room 801 on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 to review the following projects to determine what conditions, if any, the Commission will impose in order to protect the interests of the public and private water supply, ground water, prevention of pollution, flood control, prevention of storm damage, protection of fisheries and land containing shellfish, and protection of wildlife habitat:
Request to amend Order of Conditions DEP File No. 006-1072 from The Mayo Group for modifications to the scope and design of a residential development project at 1100 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury (Isolated Land Subject to Flooding).
Notice of Intent from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation for exploratory geotechnical borings to evaluate subsurface conditions required to support the engineering design of dock improvements at Georges Island, Boston Harbor (Land Under Ocean).
Notice of Intent from the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority for the construction of a 1.5 megawatt wind turbine facility and installation of an access walkway and electrical switchgear at the DeLauri Pump Station, 192 Alford Street, Charlestown, Mystic River (100-foot Buffer Zone to Coastal Bank).
Request for an extension to Order of Conditions DEP File No. 006-1094 from Roseland Property Company for work associated with waterside improvements at the Portside at Pier 1 Redevelopment Project, Lewis Street and Marginal Street, Boston Inner Harbor, East Boston (Land Under Ocean, Coastal Beach, Coastal Bank, Fish Run, Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage).
Enforcement Order issued to Orient Heights Yacht Club for work conducted in violation of Order of Conditions DEP File No. 006-1167, at 61 Bayswater Street, East Boston.

Request for Certificate of Compliance for Order of Conditions DEP File No. 006-1202 from the Massachusetts Port Authority for the demolition of a boathouse at Logan International Airport, East Boston.
