STUDY COMMITTEE MEMBERS
PROPOSED FORT POINT CHANNEL LANDMARK DISTRICT Members: David Berarducci - Study Committee Chair. David Berarducci is principal of David Berarducci Landscape Architecture, located in the proposed district. David is a member of the BLC who serves on BLC design review committee and lives in the South End Landmark District. Valerie Burns - Valerie is the Executive Director of the Boston Natural Areas Network. She is a long-time resident of the proposed district and a city-wide open space advocate. Louis Casagrande - Lou is President of the Children's Museum. He has a background in urban anthropology. Lou has participated in many Fort Point planning efforts and serves on the board of several educational and civic organizations. Cyrus Field - Cy is a member of the BLC who also serves on local district commissions. He is an Urban Planner for the Mass. Dept. of Housing and Community Development. Thomas Herman - Vice Chair, BLC. Tom is an attorney with Smith Duggan who lives in the Back Bay Historic District. Steve Hollinger - Steve is a resident and business owner in the proposed district and an inventor. He is the spokesperson for the petition submitted to the BLC for the designation of the district, and a founder of SAND (Seaport Alliance for a Neighborhood Design). Young Park - Young is the CEO of Berkeley Investments. He has a BS in Urban Studies and a Masters of Architecture in Urban Design. Jeffry Pond - Jeff is a member of the BLC and principal of Jeffry Pond Architects. His practice includes rehabilitation projects. Susan Pranger - Chair of the BLC. Sue has served on historic district commissions and a prior district study committee. She is an architect with Goody Clancy & Associates and has experience in historic building rehabilitation. Pretap Talwar - Pratap Talwar is an architect, planner and urban designer. He is a principal of Thompson Design Group, located in the proposed district. Michele Yeeles - Michele is a resident and business owner in the district (Bob's Your Uncle). Her background includes design and real estate sales. |
