The Elderly Commission hosts task force meetings every month in City Hall. These meetings intend to promote civic engagement and allow seniors and senior service providers a platform to share their ideas and concerns. Below is a listing of the monthly task forces. Mayor's Advisory Council:
Meets on the first Friday of the month, September through June
Health Mayor’s Health and Long-Term Care Task Force:
Meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 9:00 -10:30 AM in room 115, City Hall.
Elderly Advocacy Task Force Meeting:
Meets on the fourth Friday of every month in the Piemonte Room (5th floor), City Hall, from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM

Each year the Mayor sends out hundreds of certificates and/or greeting cards honoring Boston residents on a milestone occasion.
