Low-Income Multi-Family Energy Efficiency
On May 16, 2013, the City of Boston hosted a Forum on Boston low-income multi-family efficiency program and funding. The goal of the Forum was to disseminate information about program and funding currently available in Boston and across Massachusetts to support energy efficiency retrofits.
Over 50 people participated in the Forum, which was co-sponsored by the Mayor’s Office of Environment and Energy and Department of Neighborhood Development and included the Boston Redevelopment Authority, ABCD, LISC, New Ecology, Inc., Winn Development, Massachusetts Housing Partnership, and MassCEC.
The audience heard from six presenters on topics such as utility ratepayer-funded energy efficiency, free technical assistance to energy retrofitting, inclusionary development program funding, solar hot water financing, and energy savings financing. Below is the event program and slides from each of the presentations.
