The Boston Business Assistance Center (BBAC) was established in 1998 to provide Free access to technical, financial, and administrative resources for entrepreneurs, neighborhood small business owners, and business owners interested In expanding or relocating to Boston.
BBAC Goals
- Help create and retain quality, sustainable jobs by growing small businesses in Boston.
- Make information and professional business assistance available to small firms in a "one-stop" environment by assembling business assistance providers under one roof in a convenient location.
- Provide assistance to business owners in accessing community, government, and private resources not located on site.
- Leverage information and service resources to establish and maintain an enhanced support network for small business.

- Business Reference Library including video tapes, and 200 Entrepreneur Start-up Business Guides
- Appointments for one-on-one counseling on available financial and technical resources, government procurement opportunities, and credit, business education, and training resources
Many of these organizations provide services and program information during specific BBAC counseling hours. They include the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center (MSBDC), Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), Jewish Vocational Services (JVS), U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), General Services Administration (GSA), and Accion. Call the BBAC for a schedule of counseling hours.
