Are you planning to purchase a home in Boston? Register for Homebuying 101! This FREE eight-hour course is a must for any first-time homebuyer.

Topics include:

  • Introduction to the mortgage process
  • How to qualify for a mortgage
  • Managing debt/budgeting
  • How to effectively deal with credit issues
  • Shopping for a home
  • Legal aspects of purchasing a home

A Homebuying 101 Graduate has these advantages:

Homebuying 101 is a required course for the BostonHOME Certificate Initiative providing downpayment and closing cost assistance to eligible buyers

Homebuying 101 is a required course for the Soft Second Mortgage program, providing qualified buyers access to an exciting line of loan products through participating lenders

Qualified buyers can also access MHFA and other Fannie Mae specialty loan programs upon completion of the course.
