REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

COMMERCIAL LAND PROGRAM – ROUND III

SEE ADDENDUM #1

The City of Boston acting by and through its Public Facilities Commission by the Director of the Department of Neighborhood Development (DND), Real Estate Management and Sales division, sells tax-foreclosed or surplus municipal property to buyers who agree to invest in the rehabilitation of the property.  Residential, commercial and institutional buildings and land are included in this program.

DND administers its programs in accordance with federal, state and local equal opportunity and fair housing laws, regulations and requirements.  This includes affirmatively furthering the housing and providing equal access to information about development opportunities.

The Department of Neighborhood Development is seeking proposals to develop each site.  The priority for these sites is commercial use, including parking to support commercial or mixed-use development.

The RFP package will be available on Monday, March 3, 2008 at DND, 26 Court Street, Bid Counter - 10th Floor, Boston, MA 02108.  Completed proposal forms must be submitted as specified and delivered directly to the Bid Counter - 10th Floor, DND, 26 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108 by May 30, 2008, no later than 4:00 PM.  LATE PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  For more information about this Request for Proposals contact Christopher Rooney, Project Manager at (617) 635-0493.

This addendum modifies, amends, and supplements designated parts of the Request For Proposals: Commercial Land Program-Round III, and is hereby made a part of thereof by reference, and shall be as binding as though inserted in its entirety in the locations designated hereunder. Whenever portions of any addendum are in conflict with a previous addendum, the addendum bearing the latest date shall govern. No claim for additional compensation, due to the lack of knowledge of this addendum will be considered.

ITEM ONE: Potential Offerors are hereby notified of the correction to the Advertisement page of the
Commercial Land Program-Round III RFP by deleting the following words “Belden Street” and replacing with the following words “Belden Square”

ITEM TWO: Potential Offerors are hereby notified of the correction to the Advertisement page of the Commercial Land Program-Round III RFP by deleting the Ward/Parcel numbers for 6 Fabyan Street: 14/00487-000 and replacing with the following Ward/Parcel numbers “14/04458-000.”
