Homeownership Stabilization Campaign
On July 29, 2009, Mayor Menino joined the Boston Home Center in announcing the City’s new Homeownership Stabilization Campaign, an $18 million, 12-month initiative designed to strengthen our neighborhoods by helping Boston’s homeowners overcome the challenges of today’s housing market. Through a two-part strategy of protecting existing homeowners and creating new ones, Boston is working hard to be among the first major cities in the country to successfully emerge from the nationwide housing crisis.
