The Mayor's Office of Consumer Affairs and Licensing contributes to the overall mission of improving the quality of life in the City of Boston by maintaining safety and order in the restaurant and nightclub community through the licensing of entertainment activities and monitoring compliance with relevant laws. The office also educates and mediates on behalf of Boston area consumers in order to facilitate successful resolution on consumer related complaints.
