Committee Description:
Committee on Post Audit and Oversight, which shall concern itself with evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of city operations and programs, and administrative compliance with legislative intent, including administrative regulations of departments, agencies, and programs. The committee shall select areas for review, establish goals and objectives, collect and analyze data, and report to the council with recommendations, including possible legislative and programmatic changes based on its review and analysis. The committee shall exercise oversight with respect to the Auditing Department and the Boston Finance Commission.
