Public Meeting Notices
Massachusetts General Law Chapter 39, Section 23B requires that the public's business be conducted in public. Therefore, except in an emergency, a notice of every meeting of any governmental body must be filed with the City Clerk and posted at least forty-eight hours (not including Sundays and legal holidays) prior to said meeting.
