In an effort to highlight student athletes in the city, Boston City TV has produced segments featuring middle and high school athletes. This particular segment features Kayla Cox, an 8th grader from Dorchester, who stars on her middle school boys wrestling team. Over the past year Kayla was ranked the 7th best female wrestler in the country, an honor that is normally conducted for high school girls. This story aired during halftime of several high school basketball games titled “Mayor Menino’s Game of the Week”. |
