Youth Options Unlimited
Our mission is to empower and motivate young people so they
may gain the educational, employment, and career advancement necessary to be successful in the workforce, in the community, and in their lives.

Youth Options Unlimited has the following goals:
  • Engage the city's most challenged youth and to propel them toward a healthier future and self-sustainability;
  • Assist in reducing youth violence and incarceration recidivism rates by providing youth with academic and vocational skill-building activities and employment opportunities;
  • Elevate public awareness about the importance of structured support and educational and workforce development services for youth and adults re-entering the community post incarceration.
    Who is served by Y.O. Unlimited?
    Y.O.U. clients come from many neighborhoods in the city and are between 14 and 24 and have already burned some bridges.

    Many are high school drop outs and lack basic skills needed for entry level employment and to complete a high school education. Through case management, mentoring, skills development, counseling, education and a positive social environment, the program connects these young people to their own promising future.

    Youth Options Unlimited empowers youth and fosters their personal and career development. YO Unlimited is funded with state and local resources and is operated by the Boston's Office of Jobs and Community Services (JCS). JCS is a division of the Boston Redevelopment Authority.
