Through the Massachusetts Department of Education, the Boston Centers
for Youth & Families administers grants to 21st Century Community
Learning Centers. The mission of the Boston Community Learning Center
initiative is to cultivate meaningful partnerships between schools,
community-based organizations, and families. Through high-quality,
comprehensive out-of-school time services, the initiative seeks to
foster academic success and healthy development in children and youth.
WriteBoston was awarded a grant to develop and manage the After School
Program at the Odyssey High School in the South Boston Educational
Complex.
