The Campaign is spearheaded by Mayor Thomas M Menino and Boston's
Office of Jobs and Community Services. Mimi Turchinetz, the city's Living Wage Administrator,
serves as Campaign Director.
As part of the nation's central bank, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston promotes sound growth and financial stability in New England and the nation.
Marques Benton at the Federal Reserve Bank works closely with the banking collaborative and financial literacy aspect of the coalition. He is also a steering committee member.
The IRS-SPEC office is committed to serving the low to moderate income, disabled, and non-English speaking taxpayers of
Boston by supporting free tax preparation sites, volunteer training, and tax education/awareness campaigns through trusted
community partners. Matilde Tamburrini is our senior tax specialist and represents the IRS on the steering committee.
The Boston Chamber of Commerce provides the coalition with corporate recruitment and support. Paul Guzzi,
the CEO of the Chamber supports the Mayor's effort to maximize the Earned Income Tax Credit.
Action for Boston Community Development ABCD, Inc. is a private non-profit human services agency providing opportunities for upward mobility to hundreds of thousands of Boston residents through innovative, quality programs & services since 1962. Lesley Cayton of
ABCD (Action for Boston Community Development) manages eleven tax sites for the coalition and is our survey data expert.
ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, is the nation's largest community organization of low- and moderate-income families, working together for social justice and stronger communities.
Acorn operates two free tax sites, one in Dorchester and the other in Mattapan. Carolyn Martin runs these sites on behalf of the coalition.

Created by Congress in 1933, the FDIC supervises banks, insures deposits up to $100,000 and helps maintain a stable and sound banking system. Kip
Child works closely with the coalition as a volunteer tax preparer and a steering committee member.

Dotwell serves as a resource for improving the physical, mental and social well being of the community. Doreen Treacy, the director of The Civic Health Institute at Dotwell,
plays a key role in the coalition by being a steering committee member, and coordinator of two tax sites, Codman Square and Dorchester House.

Jewish Vocational Service has been an innovative leader providing unparalleled workforce development services to the Greater Boston community for over 60 years, cultivating strong relationships with clients and employers and achieving
an excellent track record of results. Nancy Karp is a steering committee member and the JVS tax site coordinator.
Boston College is an active supporter of the coalition. The college provides support for our
data collection effort and assists with strategy in the Allston Brighton community. Jeanne Levesque, Director of
Government Relations, provides support to the campaign for BC.
Suffolk University is a major contributor to the EITC coalition. Suffolk provides us with computer lab space for our volunteer tax preparer training sessions, as well as student volunteers. Professor Tom Whalen
supports the campaign on behalf of Suffolk University.
State Street Bank has supported the coalition with funds and has provided volunteers for the past four years.
George Russell provides corporate leadership and support to the campaign.
The Hispanic Office of Planning and Evaluation , Inc, is a 33 year old statewide
agency created to advocate, develop, facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate educational,
human services, and community development programs for the Hispanic community of Massachusetts.
HOPE serves as a tax site for the coalition and hosts our spanish ambassador to assist in preparing taxes
for our spanish speaking taxpayers.
The mission of the Black Misisterial Alliance is to provide spiritual nurture
for clergy, advocacy and program services for the larger black community. The coalition is working with the BMA to
strengthen outreach in these communities. Barbara Robinson is the BMA site coordinator at the Metropolitan Baptist Church, a BMA affiliate church.
1199 Service Employees International Union is one of Massachusetts fastest
growing service unions with 11,000 health care employees from Boston to Cape Cod to Pittsfield.
Their mission is to improve the lives of working people and their families and lead the way to a more just and humane society.
The Boston Public Library addresses the importance of the EITC
by informing Boston's low and moderate income families of the services provided by the EITC campaign.
The YMCA is the nation's largest not-for-profit community service organization in America. The Y
assists the the coalition through educating their constituents about the EITC campaigns.
American Consumer Credit Counseling
has provided the Boston EITC Coalition with volunteer credit advisors and with funds to support our credit advising program.
The Boston Housing Authority
houses approximately 10 percent of the city's residents through its programs.
The BHA also provides affordable housing through the administration of several rental assistance programs.
These programs include the federal Section 8 Voucher Program, and the state funded Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program that is overseen by the Department of Housing and Community Development.
The BHA is an active coalition partner. Rachel Goodman, Director of the BHA's Community Services Department, assists in outreach to BHA residents and chairs the steering committee disability working group.

will enhance the quality and dignity of life for individuals, families, and communities on a global
basis, through the power of work, by eliminating barriers to opportunity for people with special needs,
and by facilitating empowerment, self-help, and service through dedicated, autonomous local
organizations.

is the non-profit organization charged by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to implement the strategies of Boston’s Empowerment Zone. BCI is proud to continue to support the Boston EITC Campaign’s crucial outreach efforts to communities throughout the Zone.
Clipper Ship Foundation
was founded in 1979 by David Parmely Weatherhead. The foundation makes grants to federally tax qualified nonprofit organizations offering human services to individuals living in Greater Boston (cities and towns lying on or within Route 128) or the cities of Lawrence and Brockton. Priority is given to those organizations devoted to helping the homeless and ill-housed, the destitute, the handicapped, children and the aged, or addressing the needs of new immigrants and other needy communities and neighborhoods. Special consideration will also be given to emergency disaster situations, worldwide.
Clowes Fund, Inc.
is a family foundation established in 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana; which makes grants in Indianapolis; Seattle, Washington; and northern New England to support human services, education and the arts.
Mabel Louise Riley Foundation
helps organizations to address important community-wide concerns or critical issues, or to achieve a broad impact for the public’s benefit, rather than to meet routine needs.
In establishing a general purpose foundation, Miss Riley’s only suggestion to her trustees was that particular consideration be given to the needs of children and youth. The Mabel Louise Riley Foundation began operation as an active member of Boston’s philanthropic community in May 1972
