Credit Advising

Do you have bad credit?

Do you know the importance and effects of good credit?

Are you in debt and looking for ways to improve your financial situaion?

Talk to our credit advisors. They'll explain the FICO system, tell you what it means and how it affects loan interest rates, and provide strategies to help you improve your credit score. We've also partnered with Americcan Consumer Credit Counseling, a nonprofit credit-counseling agency, to provide free credit counseling services.

Access to Financial Services

Are you still using check cashing stores and paying fees?

Do you want to open a bank account to begin investing for the long-term?

Bank representatives will be onsite to answer your questions and help you find out how to open an account that meets your needs. In addition, our new partnership with Tremont Credit Union will allow you to open savings accounts at all Campaign sites.

Benefits Counselor

Do you qualify for food stamps and free health care?

Would you like someone to help you with the application process?

Our trained counselors will determine if you are eligible for the Food Stamp Program or MassHealth. If you meet the eligibility requirements, they will help you complete the nacessary paperwork. When you leave our site, you'll have a completed application in-hand that you can mail or take to the appropriate office.

College Financial Aid Assistance

We have partnered with ACCESS, an organization that can help you and/or your child enroll in the right college financial aid package. ACCESS has people on site to assist with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). By the time you leave, you will have completed and submitted the entire financial aid application.
