How TGH Has Changed the Life of the White-Miller Family

A Day in the life of the White-Miller Family after Technology Goes Home

The Technology Goes Home Program has helped myself and my daughter understand the ins and outs of the computer, how to use the internet to retrieve information, the proper ways to write letters, using the different accessories like the paint program or notepad. For me I had the opportunity of meeting new people in my community and while participating in the classroom projects we were all building a lifetime bond with each other, after all isn't that what communities are all about. The staff was very understanding and very helpful to the need of the students in the class. The experience that my daughter and me have gained will last a lifetime. I thank Technology Goes Home staff for allowing my family the opportunity to be part of this program. Our class was the first graduating class of "2002" during the ceremony you could just feel all the excitement in the air, after 11 hard weeks we did it… even though some times you just wanted to just quit because you thought you would never get it right, but the staff was always there to keep you going.

While the program has ended for us we will always be thankful for all the key people who made this program possible. Soon every family will need to know how to use a computer because everything will be computerized.

I would strongly recommend this program to any and all families in the community, I believe it changes the way you that we look at the world of modern technology. The Technology Goes home Program has given us a jump-start on the era of modern technology and helps build a stronger relationship with your children as it did with my daughter and me.

Again I would like to thank all of the Staff at TGH especially Marcus Adamson & Steve Robinson for all of your time, patience and for sharing your computer knowledge.

Thank you,
Sherri Marshall White and Jasmine Miller
