Each Crossroads is part of a broader context within the city, serving a unique role in terms of transportation/mobility, the city’s culture and character, and the local and regional economies. The planning and design process aims to understand these special relationships and strengths in order to better respond to those who depend on the streets for transportation, entertainment, shopping, or livelihood.
