The plan above presents in finer detail - at the level of Broad Street, in this case - the information conveyed by the large map under the “About the Approach” tab. Broad Street is the first Crossroads contract to go out to bid; the plan above is a starting point for the individual design teams. (Click on the map for a larger pdf version.)
In the third stage of implementation, individual design teams will focus on each street, directly responding to the condition and unique potential of each. Following the model of the first two stages, each design team will be a multidisciplinary group of urban designers, engineers, architects, and planners.
• Engage stakeholders and interested public in the design process
