Founder and Lead Game Designer of Metaversal Studios

JAY LAIRD is the founder and Lead Game Designer of Metaversal Studios, a Boston-based company specializing in educational and social game design for print and online. His work has included game development for Fidelity Investments, The Boston Globe, Shockwave.com (a division of MTV), the New England Aquarium, Northeastern University’s College of Engineering (under a grant from the National Science Foundation), and MIT. He is also a screenwriter and comic book author, with credits including the Roger Corman produced film “The Strangler’s Wife” and “Star Wars Tales” from Dark Horse Comics. He has been teaching programming, animation, and game design at Northeastern University since January, 2000.
