Boston Connects Inc. makes resources available through an open and competitive bid process. Funding decisions are based on programs promulgated through one of Boston Connects Inc.’s three program areas. Economic Development, Human Development and Community Capacity Building.

Occasionally, the Board will fund pilot programs aimed to serve a special needs population or meet an unmet service need in the Empowerment Zone.
