Most neighborhoods have some services. Generally, these services are organized for individuals, and there is a waiting list for programs. The Mayor's Office of New Bostonians, The Mayor's Office of Jobs and Community Services, and Backstreets are pairing to create a pilot workplace-based ESOL program. Workforce Training Fund/Express Program The Workforce Training Fund's Express Program can provide up to a maximum of $15,000 a year to match training expenses of employers with up to 50 employees. Job seekers may post resumes; employers may post listings. In some cases, job seekers may secure job training through a Career Center.
