Safe Routes to School – Safe Routes promotes walking and biking to school through education and fun incentives. The program also addresses the safety concerns of parents by encouraging greater enforcement of traffic laws, educating the public, and exploring ways to create safer streets. Bikes Not Bombs This innovative program for high school and middle school-aged students deals with just about every aspect of bikes and bike riding. It includes everything from a girl's only program; a co-ed program where you can earn your own bike; a program where you learn how to become a bike shop mechanic and a program that teaches you to actually sell bikes. All the programs are low cost and geared towards anyone who really loves bikes.
MassBike -MassBike offers a series of Bicycling Skills classes to help bicyclists learn to ride more safely and effectively. Please read below for more information (including full course descriptions) and to register. Classes are added to the schedule frequently, so check back often.
