    Hub On Wheels 9/23/12

    Join us for Hub On Wheels' Annual citywide bike ride followed by the TD Bank Mayor’s Cup Pro Race. Experience a car-free Storrow Drive, explore hidden pathways and historic neighborhoods, and take in views of the Boston Harbor. The day before, you can  watch professional racers, including national champions and Olympic cyclists, compete for $40,000 in prize money.

  • Roll It Forward participant

    Roll It Forward

    Mayor Menino and former Boston Bikes Director Nicole Freedman launched "Roll It Forward", a program where individuals can donate bikes they no longer use. The bikes can be donated across the Greater Boston area. The bikes will be cleaned and refurbished free of charge by local cycling shops and donated to the needy.

    Circle the City 2012

    Boston’s Circle the City is an open-streets initiative connecting people to parks. Featuring free activities for all ages that promote healthy, active urban living, Circle The City will draw people out of their homes and cars and onto safe, car-free streets to walk, bike, roll, play and celebrate some of our greatest urban resources—our parks. Join us at Franklin Park on June 24th and July 15, and on the Rose Kennedy Greenway on August 5th.
