Boston Bruins Parade Information

The City of Boston is excited to celebrate the Boston Bruins Stanley Cup victory.  Please help us recognize their achievements in a responsible manner.

Tips for Residents

  • Keep an eye out for parking regulations around your neighborhood. For more detailed information on restrictions, see the full press release. Always follow posted street signs and the direction of public safety officials. Towing and enforcement of posted streets begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday.

  • Road closures on the parade route are expected to begin around 9:00 a.m. and end by around 3:30 p.m., per the direction of public safety officials. Please plan accordingly. 

  • Residents are encouraged to leave their cars at home and to take public transportation if attending the parade. 

  • Once the parade begins, crossing the route will not be allowed.

Tips for Visitors

  • Take public transportation.  Visit www.mbta.com or call 617-222-3200 for schedules and routes.

  • Keep in mind that there will be limited public restrooms along the parade route.

  • Please place trash and recycling in proper containers throughout the route. 

  • Keep an eye on the weather forecast. As of right now, the forecast for Saturday indicates isolated thunderstorms. Plan accordingly.

  • Take special care to accommodate seniors, children or persons with disabilities who are looking to enjoy the festivities. 

  • Always follow the directions of public safety officials who will be present along the route.  

  • The parade starts at 11:00AM, but plan to show up earlier to claim a spot.

  • There will be reserved wheelchair access at the Tip O’Neill Federal Building at Causeway Street. Follow the signage and the direction of the Federal Police Officers. 


Tips for Businesses

  • Restaurants, bars, and other food establishments should follow all codes, permits and other regulations.  Officials will be on hand to monitor compliance. 

  • Take care to schedule any deliveries for early morning or evening to avoid road closures or traffic restrictions. 

  • Remind employees to leave extra time getting to work on Saturday and encourage them to take public transit.
