Boston offers just what you need for smooth, efficient planning and implementation of every aspect of your film production.

To assist in pre-production and on-location plans in our city, the Boston Film Bureau will assist you by offering the following services:

  • Research of sites for filming
  • Referral and access to technical support services
  • Referral and access to crew, talent and other professional personnel
  • Liaison services between local and federal agencies, the private sector, and production companies
  • Assistance in securing permits or clearances required for use of public areas
  • Assistance in making necessary arrangements with the Police Department for traffic control, crowd control or barricading of streets
