Student Records Requests

Copies of Student Record Transcripts may be directly obtained through Boston Public Schools. Please contact Boston Public Schools and not the City Archives for copies of student records.

To obtain a transcript from a Boston Public School that is still operating, fill out an School Transcript Request Form and fax it directly to the school. For a list of open Boston Public Schools with contact information, visit BPS School Profiles.

Merged, Closed or Renamed Boston Public High Schools
Certain high schools no longer operating have either closed or merged into open Boston Public Schools. Certain others have been renamed. As a general rule transcripts from merged schools can be obtained from the open schools into which these former schools have merged. Transcripts will also normally remain within schools despite name changes. Transcripts from closed schools can be obtained through BPS Office of Unified Student Services.
