Holdings of Bromley atlases includes: Boston Proper and Back Bay, 1898, 1908, 1912, 1917, 1922, 1928 and 1938; Brighton, 1890, 1897, 1909, 1916 and 1925; Charlestown, 1892 and 1901; Charlestown and East Boston, 1901, 1912 and 1922; Dorchester, 1889, 1894, 1898, 1904, 1910, 1918 and 1933; Hyde Park, 1912; Roxbury, 1889 vol. Records documenting K. Marie Clarke's activities within various organizations which were involved in the monitoring of the Boston Public School system at different levels. K. Marie Clarke was involved with the Secondary School Commission, the Boston Home and School Association and the Citywide Coordinating Council. Records includes correspondence, reports, proposals, court documents, memorandum, meeting agendas and minutes, studies, handbooks, pamphlets, newsletters, news clippings, etc.

Scope and Contents note

Records document the activities of the Boston City Federation of Organizations, a federation of women's clubs.  The bulk of the materials consists of meeting minutes, agendas, and announcements. The records also contain some correspondence and a memorial program for Dr. Melnea Cass who served as the president of the federation from 1976 to 1978

Papers include two document cases of various documents written and collected by Louise Day Hicks during the 1970s. The papers include correspondence, newspaper clippings, reports, and legal documents.
Many of the papers detail the period of public school desegregation and busing in Boston during the 1970s.
