The City Archaeology Lab contains the office of the City Archaeologist, the Archaeology Classroom, the Processing Lab, and the Curation Facility.

The Lab holds thousands of boxes containing the collections from 39 archaeological surveys excavated in the City of Boston. The Lab is also where all artifact processing occurs and report preparation is conducted. All archaeological digs end with a final report that publishes the results of the dig.

Note that visits are by appointment only.
The City Archaeology Lab is closed on City Holidays.
