A Horrific Wound Gone Untreated

This beautiful Husky X was found as a stray and never claimed by the owner. The cause of injury is unknown but may have resulted from an animal attack or car accident.

The pictures illustrate what could happen to an animal/person with an untreated wound. The wound on this dog was maggot infested and horribly painful.

This could also happen to an animal that is extremely matted.

For more information contact Boston's Animal Control Department.
