Animal Rescue League of Boston's Spay Waggin'

The Spay Waggin' is a 26 foot mobile veterinary unit, staffed by a League veterinarian and veterinarian technicians. It is complete with a fully operational surgical suite and recovery ward. The vehicle has been designed to provide spaying and neutering in Greater Boston neighborhoods where various constraints may make veterinary care less accessible.

Surgery is by appointment only, and includes a wellness examination, vaccinations (rabies and distemper), and microchip. Heartworm testing and FELV/FIV testing is also available.

As of January 1, 2004, the Spay Waggin' fees are as follows:

• Feline neuter $50


• Feline spay $60


• Canine neuter $60


• Canine spay $70
