Project Bread
Project Bread is the state's leading hunger prevention organization, dedicated to alleviating, preventing, and ultimately ending hunger in Massachusetts.

There are food and hunger relief in every neighborhood of the City of Boston. Project Bread's FoodSource Hotline (800) 645-8333 (TTY: (800) 377-1292) is a resource for information and referral to a wide variety of community hunger and nutrition programs, meal sites for the elderly, meals on wheels programs, food distribution sites and other free or low-cost food programs.

Project Bread also offers a website that provides valuable information on how to access the federal Food Stamps program www.gettingfoodstamps.orgExternal Link The first Sunday in May each year, we run the oldest continual pledge walk in the country, The Walk for Hunger.
