The Greater Boston Food Bank
Is the largest hunger-relief organization in New England, and one of the largest food banks in the country. The GBFB distributes over 24 million pounds of food annually to numerous local agencies. They are the primary resource for local food pantries, soup kitchens, day-care centers, youth programs, senior centers, and homeless and residential shelters in Boston, helping them provide the food they need to feed the hungry.
