Mayor Menino and Commissioner Davis introduced Boston's latest crime fighting tool, the Real Time Crime Center. The new technology is part of the Boston Regional Intelligence Center and allows crime analysts to assist officers with more timely information immediately following an incident.

The Boston Police would like to remind all residents to use care in allowing unsolicited workers in their homes. If anyone has any questions, they can call 911 to have the police assist in verifying the credentials of persons purporting to work for the "Water Department".
