What is the Fund for Parks and Recreation?
The Fund for Parks and Recreation ("the Fund") was established as a 501c3 charitable corporation in 1983 for the "purpose of furthering the maintenance and preservation of parks now or in the future belonging to the City of Boston and providing recreational facilities and programs to the residents of Boston."

Yes, donations are accepted for as specific a purpose as the donor would like.
What are some of the programs/purposes I can donate toward?
Some existing programs include Park Rangers, Emerald Necklace, ParkARTS, and donations for beautification of specific parks. Other donor and sponsorship opportunities are available for general parks beautification, historic burying grounds, youth recreation, and others. Are there sponsorship opportunities available through the Fund?
Yes, sponsorships are available for specific events, concerts, performances, and youth recreation events and programs that take place in Boston parks.
Is there a minimum or maximum donation amount?
Donations are accepted for as little or as much as a donor would like.
