Abrasive Blasting and Chemical Cleaning
 
Under the regulations, of the Boston Air Pollution Control Commission (APCC), all persons wishing to employ dry or wet abrasive blasting, including chemical cleaning, on a building must obtain a permit from the APCC. Among other conditions, all abrasive blasting must be enclosed in order to eliminate public airborne exposure to the materials or chemicals.
