Terry Saunders Lane
Terry Saunders Lane is the Vice President for Program at the Boston Foundation. She oversees the discretionary grantmaking activities of the Foundation, including its major funding initiatives and related research and evaluation activities. Ms. Lane came to the Boston Foundation in 2001 from the Boston University School of Social Work, where she was an Associate Dean and a faculty member. There, her research focused on effectiveness of services for vulnerable populations, including persons with HIV, young homeless women, pregnant teenagers, and immigrants and refugees. Ms. Lane also has been a Senior Analyst at Abt Associates, Inc., a social science research company that specializes in the evaluation of large-scale federally-funded social, health, housing and economic development programs. Ms. Lane holds an MSS degree from Bryn Mawr College, and a BA degree in Sociology from Colby College.
