BCYF Recreation Center at Madison Park

The Recreation Division of Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) offers a variety of innovative recreational activities, sports, and trainings to address the physical fitness, health, and social enrichment needs of all Boston residents. The Recreation Division provides programming for all ages with a primary focus on providing a broad range of activities for youth ages 6-18 in fun, safe and secure settings. BCYF recreational activities are provided at no or very low cost and are available citywide, ensuring easy access for all.

    2nd Annual MLK Basketball Invitational

    In celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., BCYF, Boston Parks and Recreation, the Boston Scholar Athletes (BSA) and the Boston Public Schools, will host the second annual MLK Invitational basketball showcase on Sunday, January 25, at the Tansey Gymnasium at Wentworth Institute of Technology.  These games will bring together basketball’s best from the Boston City League and surrounding area high schools for a day of exciting games while also including a community service component with Boston youth.

    Mayor's Cup Hockey Results

    The 2014 Mayor’s Cup Hockey Tournament took place in December 2014 and January 2015.  With support from Presenting Sponsor the Boston Bruins Foundation and additional support from Comcast, teams throughout Boston participated in this citywide tournament to vie for the championship title in 9 divisions for boys and girls ages 6-14 (Mites, Squirts, and Pee Wees.)  See attachment below for tournament final game scores.
