Boston About Results wins 2012 DGAA Award
Boston About Results (BAR) received the Driving Digital Government Award from the Center of Digital Government, an award which highlights outstanding agency and department websites and applications. BAR, The City's Performance Metrics system, was developed to ensure that the people of Boston receive the best possible City services in all areas.

PTI Technology Solutions Award - Web & E-Gov Winner
The City of Boston's Performance Management Program was the overall winner in the Web & E-Government category. BAR is the City’s new state-of-the-art performance management system. All 45 departments in the City of Boston participate in the system by building performance scorecards. These scorecards start by identifying the key program areas of the department, then list the specific strategic goals of each division, and then align key performance measures against each goal. Performance against these goals is then tracked on a monthly basis on over 2,000 performance measures.
