Following a successful test run last spring, the Boston Common Frog Pond Foundation and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department announced this week that a carousel has returned to the Frog Pond and will stay for an extended run through the end of October.
The Parks and Recreation Department has introduced new green door hanger cards as part of our outreach to residents requesting tree care and plantings. The cards, to be left on the doors of homeowners who have made tree requests, include the date and check boxes for the following: tree inspection, planting inspection, pruning, and removal, along with space for comments and information on when and how to contact the Park Line at (617) 635-PARK (7275).
