Mayor Menino Releases 2011 Jobs Report
The Jobs Report outlines strategies to further bolster job creation and keep Boston on top in the job market. While Boston continues to be one of the highest job growth cities in the country - the U.S. unemployment rate of 9% is higher than Boston’s rate of around 7% - the Mayor emphasized the need to continue working to create jobs for Boston residents.
