    Mayor Martin J. Walsh announced that the City of Boston has filed a civil complaint against the Massachusetts Gaming Commission in connection with the Commission’s award of a Category 1 gaming license to Wynn for the development of a resort-casino in Everett and Boston.

  • City of Boston Agreement with Mohegan Sun

    The City has signed an agreement with Mohegan Sun Massachusetts. If Mohegan Sun earns the Greater Boston casino license this agreement provides for impact mitigation, capital improvements and community benefit opportunities in East Boston.

    This agreement also ensures the continuation of thoroughbred racing and the preservation of an industry that has been a part of the East Boston community for generations.
